1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Tyrone Attic Stairs. By booking our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Quotations
All quotations are provided based on the information supplied by the customer and are intended to accurately reflect the work discussed during the quotation process.
Where loft flooring is included, quotations are based on a maximum floor area of 160 square feet unless otherwise stated on the quotation.
If the available flooring area exceeds 160 square feet on the installation day, the customer will be advised before any additional work is undertaken. The customer may choose to:
- Proceed with flooring up to the quoted 160 square feet area, or
- Authorise the installation of additional flooring at an agreed additional cost.
No additional charges will be applied without the customer’s agreement.
3. Booking Fee
A £25 booking fee is required to secure an installation appointment.
The booking fee covers administration, scheduling, and the final on-site assessment carried out by our installation team before work commences.
4. Installation
Tyrone Attic Stairs supplies and installs all products as part of a complete installation service.
Installation dates are agreed in advance and are subject to product availability, weather conditions, and circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Our installation team will carry out a final assessment of the work area before installation begins to ensure the agreed works can be completed safely and in accordance with the quotation.
5. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must provide safe and reasonable access to the property on the agreed installation date.
Where loft flooring has been ordered, the loft space should be cleared of personal belongings prior to our arrival.
The customer must ensure that the installation area is reasonably clear and accessible to allow work to be carried out safely and efficiently.
Failure to provide suitable access may result in delays or prevent the installation from being completed.
6. Payment
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due upon satisfactory completion of the installation.
Accepted payment methods will be communicated to the customer before installation.
Any additional work requested by the customer and agreed during installation may be subject to additional charges.
7. Delays and Unforeseen Circumstances
While every effort is made to complete installations on the agreed date, Tyrone Attic Stairs shall not be liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including supplier delays, severe weather conditions, traffic disruption, or other unforeseen events.
Should a delay occur, we will contact the customer as soon as reasonably possible to arrange an alternative installation date.
8. Product and Workmanship Warranty
Tyrone Attic Stairs takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.
Any manufacturer warranties applicable to products supplied remain subject to the manufacturer’s terms and conditions.
Customers should notify us promptly if they experience any issues following installation so that they can be reviewed and addressed where appropriate.
9. Cancellation
Customers wishing to cancel or rearrange an installation appointment should provide as much notice as possible.
Tyrone Attic Stairs reserves the right to retain the £25 booking fee where an appointment is cancelled without reasonable notice.
10. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall affect the customer’s statutory rights under applicable consumer protection legislation.
Tyrone Attic Stairs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of products or services supplied.
11. Privacy
Any personal information provided to Tyrone Attic Stairs will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.
